Los Arqueros Golf Course was designed by Seve Ballesteros, this championship 18 hole, par 71, 5306m golf course was opened in 1991. Many of the fairways are bordered by steep ravines and the golf course is dotted with several streams, water hazards and strategically positioned trees, carefully positioned to demand careful calculation and accuracy rather than risk taking. The original layout of Los Arqueros offers impeccably kept fairways and spectacular scenery and an interesting feature is the S shaped bunker at the 9th hole created as a signature mark by the designer. The design thinking behind Los Arqueros Golf was to lay out a golf course which closely followed the contours of the land and was in harmony with the natural setting.
